We spent a December evening with some of the old (1990s) Woodford/Loughton/Chingford bunch, at SushiSamba. Same bunch that went to Hereford.
17 of us piled into a massive, Adams Family -esque house near Hereford. BBQs, card games, swimming,… perfect.
An amazing holiday with Ian and Anita in Mosciano Sant’Angelo on the Adriatic coast – coffee and evening parties all the way!!
Big, big afternoon and night last night. Massive. And, really a great social occasion.
A few of us met up at Spivs, including Jim & Ian.
Nice night out with the chaps from Loughton (Adam Drake), Buckhurst Hill (Steve Andrews), Theydon (Andy Matthews), and those who used to be in Woodford (Jim, Ian and I).
Had a great night at Dreambags and in Hoxton. Was planning to meet with Andy Matthews too, but he got stuck at work.
Just met with my old primary school buddies James Magnus and Ian Guest. We spent an evening reminiscing, about Moira and many many others.
Yesterday we all went to Moira Magnus’ wake. Moira would have been proud – everyone was making the most of life and enjoying good company.
An amusing night with Asha, Jim, Ian and Wendy; nice dinner, then a few drinks out near Westminster,… there’s not much to do near there!
Amazing performance of The Master & Margarita at The Barbican. Brilliant.
Yesterday we all went to Jenny Guest’s wake. Everyone was there, and after the service we all went out to remember her.
Another fabulous get-together at Dreambags. Thanks Nik.
Summer jaunt in 2004.
Yesterday marked another great evening at The 100 Club with King Pleasure playing.
What a night – hot, packed, and everyone out on the street. Glorious night at DreamBagsJaguarShoes – thanks Nik!
Last night we went to another great King Pleasure gig at 100 Club.
Retrospective post. In a cold January of 2003, Adam, Ian and I popped to Prague to visit all of Adam’s old buddies. Including Ben, Jirke, Vladja et al. Ian and I both told our favourite stories: Ian’s: Dread Vader (tall guy with dreadlocks who was giving him hassle in a bagel shop late at night) … Continue reading Prague with Adam Guy and Ian Guest
Just had a short jaunt to Berlin to see The Foo Fighters, with Andy & Ian. Andy did not bring a jacket, and got sick,… even though he repeatedly stressed that “you don’t get ill from being cold”. He did.
Some shots taken in Travellers Friend – a pub in Woodford – on New Year’s Day in 2002.
