On October 17th & 18th 2013, BBC News Labs in partnership with BBC Connected Studio, put on a 48 hour News Industry Hackathon called #newsHACK with 10 News Organisations and 6 Universities.

BBC News Labs brought The Juicer, with our News Labs APIs, and a Storyline authoring tool called Storyliner by Outlandish.com for teams to use. 80% of teams used The Juicer and News Labs APIs for their prototypes.
