Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru is part of the Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley in Kenya, at an elevation of 1,754m above sea level. I first visited Lake Nakuru as part of the BBC Connected Studio Nairobi #newsHACK. “Nakuru” means “dusty place” in the Maasai language.
