Remote working at Cafe Ubuntu – Maai Mahiu, Kenya

Today we spent at Cafe Ubuntu in Maai Mahiu working on BBC News Labs strategy, and on preparation for the Nairobi Connected Studio #newsHACK event.

Cafe Ubuntu grow all of their food, and raise all of their livestock, in the farm that is right next to the cafe. The project is run jointly by Whole Foods and CTC International.

The Cafe is located in Maai Mahiu in the Great Rift Valley.

We found the location particularly peaceful and serene. A great afternoon, and very productive.
