We’ve just completed day 3 of our Second EP recording. This is a middle aged rockers equivalent of a Spa Weekend. Krill Camp.
The Krill have launched the new EP “Sea Sea TV“. It’s now available via most digital services.
After 5 rehearsals, we – The Krill – just spent a couple of days recording our inaugural EP at Soundlab Studios, with James (Susan) operating the electronics, and Max in support.
Rehearsal number one for the new EP.
A wonderful 2017 surf rock debut, with the sun shining across the rooftops of Whitechapel.
Rehearsal for an upcoming secret London gig
At a very special event.
After a couple of years of no rehearsals, The Krill are back in the swing of things; the set is appearing and the tunes are sounding good.
That’s it. The jig’s on. We have to get ready for Ginny’s wedding. She needs a surf rock band. We have one. Now we just need a set.
With the sun shining and some Jazz from Esquire Swing, we all met up at Belgique for Fathers Day.
In Matt Farrar’s absence, I stood in on drums for a BJRP Rehearsal. Great fun – ups and downs, light and shade, and some forgetting of the tunes 🙂
Today had been planned for a while – the purpose was to finish off the Bass for all 11 tracks. Dan had done the 6 most familiar ones already.
We are officially part-way into our 11 tracks of a new album for The Dees. So it seemed right to meet up and discuss strategy.
Another cracking drum session at NJA with Niall Acott – great drum sounds immediately, and this time I had the guide stems all ready – so no hanging around!!
Just spent a day laying down the Drums parts with Niall Acott at NJA Audio Productions for the first 6 tunes from The Dees‘ new album.
Today I popped to visit Niall Acott down Maidstone way, and we recorded the drums for one of his tunes – “Faith Forever” – at Ten21 Studios.
Great rehearsal today. Another new tune. Another set of jokes and laughs about our accelerating decrepitude.
