The Krill have launched the new EP “Sea Sea TV”. It’s now available via most digital services.
After 5 rehearsals, we – The Krill – just spent a couple of days recording our inaugural EP at Soundlab Studios, with James (Susan) operating the electronics, and Max in support.
Rehearsal number one for the new EP.
A wonderful 2017 surf rock debut, with the sun shining across the rooftops of Whitechapel.
Rehearsal for an upcoming secret London gig
At a very special event.
After a couple of years of no rehearsals, The Krill are back in the swing of things; the set is appearing and the tunes are sounding good.
That’s it. The jig’s on. We have to get ready for Ginny’s wedding. She needs a surf rock band. We have one. Now we just need a set.
In the run-up to brother Ed’s wedding, we got together in Alexandra Palace for an ice cream, chat and to play “Shuffle up some Shearers, then guess which one is which from the back.”
Big, big afternoon and night last night. Massive. And, really a great social occasion.
With the sun shining and some Jazz from Esquire Swing, we all met up at Belgique for Fathers Day.
12 Years after my original trip to Barcelona (with Ed), Russ sent a note; “I’m going to SETAC. Anyone fancy joining me in Barcelona?”… Ed & I managed to swing it.
Great gathering this year – Amy, Evelio, Russel, Susan, Alexander are all over in London for Christmas,… plus Virginia & Glenny, Ed & Rumbie, Lori & Fred, and Wendy & I; lots of plans and lots of celebration.
A few of us met up at Spivs, including Jim & Ian.
We’ve just come back from a brilliant party at my sister-in-law-to-be’s family home in Nottingham. I had the pleasure of being the Mukwasha to my brother the Mukwasha for a Zimbabwean “Lobola” ceremony.
We had the second rehearsal for The Krill. Enterprise in Denmark Street is a great rehearsal spot. Plenty of character.
Had our first rehearsal with THE KRILL (London’s premier Surf Rock Band) at London’s The Joint rehearsal studios. Great stuff. Also see The Krill (Surf Rock Band in London) Twitter Account here for updates.
Amazing performance of The Master & Margarita at The Barbican. Brilliant.
Great night out with Ed and Ginny, and a few others were out too – James Richardson and Richard Lynton-Evans.
