Launching the BBC Agile Project Management Training Programme

I am very pleased to be launching the new Agile Project Management Training Programme for the BBC.

I’ve been working for the past few months with the BBC Academy, and the other lead project managers from The BBC to put together this training programme for our 100+ Agile Project Managers at the BBC.

It is very much a “toolbox” approach.

The programme includes modules on:-

  1. Foundation (basic principles)
  2. Scrum
  3. Kanban
  4. Release Planning (Story Mapping, cone of uncertainty, et al)
  5. Risk (RAID) Management
  6. Stakeholder Management
  7. Benefits Management
  8. Agile Portfolio
  9. Agile Workshop
  10. plus a programme of coaching and mentoring

Interestingly, we are now getting to a world where some of our project managers have never experienced the Waterfall RAID & Gantt approach to project management, so this is now an essential part of our Project Management Toolbox approach.
