In the past few weeks, we (the BBC News Project Managers and I) have rolled out a new Portfolio Delivery process, based around the phases in the BBC’s “Product Lifecycle”.

This figure shows how we are now managing EPIC-level features through the product development process.

What does this mean? What is the benefit?

This means that we now have a formal way to track and manage where we are, per EPIC, with regards to MVP definition and Release Planning.
