Hannah Blake and I made a trip to Salford today to look at some developments in BBC R&D, and also at the shiny, new Blue Room in BBC Salford.

Hannah Blake runs the BBC Worldwide Labs programme, and was interested in seeing some of what BBC R&D was doing in the R&D North Lab in Salford.

We saw a demo of live wallpaper as part of the Unconventional Screens R&D work, Matt Brooks & team’s “Responsive Radio”, and several other things. We also met up with Ali Shah and he showed us around the new Blue Room.
